Welcome to the Karachi Riding School

Learn To Ride

The Karachi Riding School accommodates both children and adults, and offers riding lessons by only the most experienced riding coaches. Coaches Haseeb and Rafay Mehta have been riding and playing polo for over two decades; Haseeb has represented Pakistan several times in the Polo World Cup Playoffs and has won the Quaid-E-Azam Gold Cup National Open Polo Tournament four times. The Karachi Riding School is known for providing one-on-one counseling to prospective riders and polo players.

Play Polo

KRS offers students the opportunity to play polo for the KRS polo team in several tournaments in Lahore. Interested students undergo a rigorous riding routine and get the opportunity to play practice polo chukkers in Karachi. The rules and basics of polo are taught to all students, and special skills classes are also included for those interested in playing polo. The KRS polo team has performed well in various tournaments in Lahore.

Cross Country Excursions

The Karachi Riding School takes students on several horseback cross-country excursions throughout the year. Students who have graduated to a more experienced level are encouraged to ride outside of the riding school and are taken on treks within Karachi off the beaten path. These treks offer students an exceptional riding experience and help students become better riders.

Summer Camp

The Karachi Riding School offers summer riding courses to kids of all ages during their summer break. Horse riding provides children with an interesting way to spend time which they may otherwise spend watching TV or playing video games. Our summer classes are aimed to develop new students into confident riders over the course of their summer vacations.

Special Education Classes

The Karachi Riding School offers a therapeutic riding program for autistic children. Several doctors and studies claim that autistic children respond well to horses and that interaction with horses stimulates the autistic brain. We provide personal attention to special needs children and have performed several successful courses in the past in which these children have responded well and gained a new-found confidence after interacting with horses.
